We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager in our Infrastructure and Industrial team. This fantastic role will suit someone looking to work on various projects in a friendly and supportive team with a growing market leader. Our Norwest office is located a convenient short distance from Norwest Metro Station.

Responsibilities

  • Manage contractual components (NODs, EOTs, Variations, Progress Claims)
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and subcontractor/sub-consultant management
  • Experience with TfNSW Works Authorisation Deeds (WAD)
  • Lead business development initiatives
  • Familiar with local government and service authority construction standards
  • Plan and execute projects within deadlines and budgets, including team and contractor coordination
  • Prepare and implement Project Management Plans
  • Manage day-to-day project activities and resources
  • Report on project progress, milestones, risks, and issues
  • Monitor and resolve project conflicts and critical path deliverables
  • Ensure high technical standards and client satisfaction
  • Ensure quality control processes are followed
  • Manage invoicing and project budgets as lead

Skills and Expertise

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering or Construction
  • Charted with Engineers Australia (desirable).
  • Over 10 years of experience in the civil construction/project management industry
  • Minimum 5 years local construction industry experience is essential
  • Valid NSW driver's license or equivalent
  • Sound understanding of civil, utilities, earthworks in terms of construction, methodology and pricing
  • Experience in Development Application management, master planning and design development is highly desirable
  • Solid positive leadership and influencing skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly MS Project
